you change your mind

When you practice twice a week,

              you change your body

                          When you practice every day,

I love how this discipline brings together and shapes all aspects of our essence in a holistic way.

When I think of yoga, its original meaning immediately comes to my mind; yoga comes from the word yuj which in Sanskrit means union.

This unity or joining is described in spiritual way as the union of the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness. Therefore, yoga is a means of balancing and harmonising the body, mind and emotions. This is done through the practice of asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, shatkarma and meditation.

My yoga practice started years before I hopped on my mat for the first time. Yoga is how you live and the attitude you have towards life. Here I want to share with you what I have learned and figured out so far, all the lessons, insights, and ideas that I had that I think are worth sharing.
